Beth Am Temple is a vital, young Reform congregation founded in 1963. Our beautiful bimah in the Sanctuary was renovated with Jerusalem stone in 2007. This reflects the Jewish tradition of praying while facing Jerusalem. Additional renovations to the sanctuary are in the planning stages. Our new Religious School classrooms and offices were completed in 2001.

Conveniently located in Pearl River, New York, our members come from throughout Rockland County and Northern Bergen County. This geographical diversity enables both our children and our adult members to expand their relationships throughout the Jewish community.

As in any congregation, policies, ideas, and traditions have been developed over the years. However, our Rabbi, Temple Board and committees are open to new ideas and suggestions.

Our Temple is directed by an elected board to whom all committees report. Therefore, committee members make an extremely important  contribution to the direction which our policies take. There is a place on  all committees for all members and meetings are open to all members.

Welcome to Beth Am Temple! Please join us for a "tour" through our temple, its ritual practices and school.

Beth Am Temple is a member of the URJ

The Union for Reform Judaism
