Exciting Expansion of Gift Card program
Beginning Tuesday, April 6th, an exciting new addition to the current gift card program will begin. On that day you can open an account with www.shopwithscrip.com and order gift cards from hundreds of companies and the Temple will receive a % from the issuing company at no cost or expense to you, an in some cases the % we receive is over 15%. In addition, the profits that the Temple receives from your on-line purchases are potentially tax deductible to you!
As an example of the power of this program, a BAT board member recently purchased gift cards to pay for a cruise and the Temple profited by $575. Imagine the benefits if each Temple family regularly used it to purchase cards for merchants such as CVS, Home Depot, AMC Theaters, Chili’s or hundreds of others in addition of course to grocery stores.
Orders placed by Sunday of each week will be available during the following week (usually Thursday or Friday). Payment is required for your order to be approved and processed.
The preferred payment method is PrestoPay which is secure transfer of funds from your checking account (39 cent fee per order). Checks can also be used and can be left at the Temple office or if time allows mailed to Howard Weiss, 25 Marion Road, Montvale, NJ 07645. At this time we are unable to accept credit card payments for this program.

GIFT CARDS! When you "buy" a gift card you are actually just trading $100 in the form of a check or credit card payment for a $100 supermarket gift card. The store pays the Temple 5%. Members do not pay any fee of any kind and the cards have the full value and can be used like any other card at the supermarkets that participate. They do not expire. Most people start out purchasing $100 and come back to purchase $300 - $500 because it is so convenient and costs nothing extra, but our Temple makes money. It truly is a simple way to help us earn extra cash. If you haven't tried it yet, please do, we think you will find it a convenient way to help out and to shop. Thank you.
