Because we only have 1 and 1/2 hours between tours, lunch on your own is informal.
Two options, limited menu lunch at Museum of Moving Image Cafe. It seats 35 and has flat bread pizza, wraps, soups and beverages. Or, two blocks away from Museum of Moving Image, there is a Paneros.
If the weather is good, we will walk 1 block to a nearby Sculpture Garden before boarding the bus to return to Rockland.
The Renassiance Group offers senior congregrants and non-congregants ( 50 years plus) the opportunity to enjoy educational and cultural experiences in a social atmosphere. We have 55 members and some of our participants are retired and some work part of the year.
There are a variety of activities such as special luncheons, movies, concerts, lectures, docent led tours of museums and historical sites, etc. Our interesting trips usually conclude with a meal in a restaurant.. Suggestions for new events are always encouraged to meet the needs of all members. Annual dues ($10.00) help to offset the expense of our activities. The Group also supports Beth Am Temple wherever and whenever needed.
